The Handcar Projects (2009-2012) are a series of human-powered, interactive works that focus on energy and industrial processes in agriculture (topsoil erosion and biofuels) and mining (hydraulic fracking).  The projects created for the handcar facilitate prototyping for a larger series of works that are currently being developed.
